What are motion graphics?

Motion graphics are graphics like title sequences, lower third graphics for interviews, informational art cards, logo overlays and other textual or object overlays in video. Once video and sound editing comes to a close and video and sound have been finalized (locked), motion graphics are added to a video to fill in the storytelling gaps. The storytelling aspect of motion graphics means knowing where and where not to add motion graphics to tell the most meaningful story. The technical aspects of motion graphics include the ability to use the various softwares and being able to execute solutions to problems that come about.

Why motion graphics are important.

Motion graphics are a storytelling tool most commonly used to clarify the story. This may range from representing a concept or scenario via a simple textual and shape oriented graphic to stating the name and title of an interviewee. We start by collecting all visual and audio media assets that will be used in editing. These assets are organized for use in current and future projects.

Next, we edit the first draft of the video(s) for our clients to review. We repeat this until our clients are 100% happy and we believe the business and creative goals have been achieved

Final Cut Delivered.

Once we receive confirmation that the rough cut is perfect we make all of the final edits and touch ups and deliver the “Final Cut” to our clients.
